I would like to wish all our readers a very happy festive season.

It has been a fantastic year of growth for Ashford Liberal Democrats. Our membership keeps growing, we delivered solid performances in both the County and General elections in May and we are looking forward to another year of success in 2006.

Away from politics, I plan to run a half marathon in March and hope to win a place in the London Marathon for 2007 (I lost out on the random ballot this year).

For those of you who enjoy this site but are not yet members then perhaps you would like to make a new years resolution to join the party!
