Chris Took completes his marathon run

Liberal Democrat parliamentary candidate for Ashford Chris Took yesterday completed his marathon run for the Pilgrims Hospice.
Finishing the Kent Coastal Marathon in a time of 5 hours and 28 minutes Chris said "I'm just delighted to get round. I have never run more than 15 miles before so 26 miles was one heck of a challenge. I just now hope I can hit my fundraising target of £1000."
Chris has already raised £200 online and a further £300 through sponsor forms but he is hoping friends, family and anyone else can dig deep so he hits his four figure target.
"There are still plenty of people I have yet to ask so I am hopeful I can hit my £1000 target soon" Chris added.
