Tackling the Tory "Heartland"

Ashford Liberal Democrat's Campaign Caravan has been motoring across the constituency.
In a deliberate approach of tackling the supposed Tory 'heartlands' Chris Took and the team have been meeting (amongst others) the people of Challock, Charing, Hamstreet and Tenterden.
"The support has been exceptionally good" said Chris. "People don't expect to see us as the think they live in a 'Tory area,' in actual fact our canvassing results have the Liberal Democrats and the Tories at pretty much 50-50."
The campaign has gained momentum with each passing day. "Not only are people seeing us but they are also saying they will vote for us. It is not just Labour coverts, a lot of people are upset at the way Howard has run the Tory campaign. They are coming to us as the real alternative for Ashford."
