Howard lurches to the Right

Tories and commentators alike were left baffled last night as Michael Howard shuffled his "inclusive" Shadow Cabinet to "lurch to the Right" (Tory MP Derek Conway) of the political spectrum. "By dumping the likes of John Bercow and local MP Damian Green the Tory leader seems content to offer a right wing approach to win back disillusioned voters, put simply the strategy will not work" commented Ashford parliamentary spokesman, Chris Took. As if to rub salt into the wounds of the Tory faithful Howard has also brought back the former Tory leadership candidate John "Vulcan" Redwood.

Chris Took is offering local MP Damian Green the opportunity to join Britain's truly inclusive political party, the Liberal Democrats. "I have a few membership forms available should Damian want to switch to a party that will listen to and appreciate the views of it's people!"
